Slant drilling
Slant drilling is a method where the well is drilled at an angle instead of vertically. The experts of Visser & Smit Hanab can carry out your slant drilling project with one of our HDD rigs at a 45 or 50 degree angle.

HDD solutions for Slant Drilling
Using Visser & Smit Hanab's HDD rings, slant drilling projects can be carried under specific conditions, especially when the oil is at a shallow depth.
In this case, we have to place our rig in an almost vertical position. When the required depth has been reached, the bore head turns in a horizontal direction, making it possible to apply the filter pipelines and extract the oil from the oilfield.
